“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” – Isaiah 40:31
While You Are Waiting
Do you find yourself in a season of waiting on God? You might be waiting for an answer, healing, guidance, or deliverance from a hardship. Whatever the reason, often the Christian life comes with times of waiting for God’s timing.
It’s natural for us to want to know why we have to wait and for how long. It can be a very difficult and lonely time and it can become easy to loose hope. God often uses this waiting time to help us grow in patience, character, and faithfulness. His Word says that we can rest in the promise that He will never leave or forsake us.
“And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.” – Deuteronomy 31:8
