Why We Pray?
Praying is a way for us to connect with God and communicate to Him. It is something we should do every single day to strengthen and build our relationship with God. Prayer is a time for us to ask Him for His guidance, protection, wisdom, healing, and blessings.
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. – Philippians 5:6
The more time we spend in prayer the closer we will draw to God.
Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. – James 4:8
What is a Prayer Journal
Prayer is a time when we are having a conversation with God and you might find it helpful to have an organized place to keep things written down that you want to talk to Him about and record your thoughts.
A Prayer Journal is a useful tool you can use to keep you focused during your quiet time with God. You can take any blank journal or notebook and begin personalizing it for use during your meditation or prayer time.
